Preparing high school students for life after graduation through paid on-the-job training and career exploration.

​What is it?

​Pathway to Your Future is a job training and life skills program designed to prepare high school students for the transition into adulthood.

​

Through hands-on experience and career-focused learning, students gain the tools, confidence, and certifications needed to pursue employment opportunities after graduation.

Career Exploration

Exposure to different career paths and industries

Paid Work Experience

Earn income while gaining hands-on, real-world experience

Job Readiness

Develop workplace skills like communication, responsibility, and time management. 

Certification Opportunities

Build credentials to strengthen resume and support post-graduation employment 

Education​​

Monday–Friday | 2:30–5:30 PM

​

Students gain hands-on experience by assisting in our after-school classrooms.

​

What Pathways do:

  • Support younger students with activities and learning

  • Assist with classroom structure and supervision

  • Build leadership and communication skills

  • Gain experience in education and youth development

Construction​​

​
Wednesdays | 2:30–5:30 PM

​

Students are transported to C.T. Gabbert Construction for hands-on training.

​

What Pathways do:

  • Learn basic carpentry and building skills

  • Work in a real construction environment

  • Gain exposure to trade careers

  • Develop practical skills
